at Independent Plan Coordinators, Inc. (“IPC”)
realize that our relationships with current and

time, the nature of our business sometimes
requires that we collect information through

information with other organizations and/or
companies. We want you to be aware of how we
collect and handle personal information. Our
policies and procedures for collecting and
disclosing personal information that has been
collected through this Site are detailed below.
Nothing contained in this Privacy/Security
Statement is intended to modify or amend any
other written agreement, if any, that may
currently be in effect between you and IPC with
regard to matters other than the Site. In
addition to this Privacy/Security Policy, which
applies to your use of the Site, your activities
may also be covered by our privacy policies for
non-Internet activities.
Collection of Information
We may collect
nonpublic personal information about you through
this Site. Personal information, as used in
this notice, means information that identifies
an individual personally and is not otherwise
available to the public. Personal information
collected through this Site may include
information we receive from you, your authorized
representative(s), or your employer on
electronic applications, electronic forms, or
other electronic means of transmitting
information.
If you contact
IPC via email or through an electronic form on

Depending on the content of your message, IPC
may be required by existing laws and regulations
to keep this information.
If you send an
email to us, please remember that email
transmissions are not secure and may be
intercepted. If your email contains information
that is very sensitive or includes personal
information such as a charge card number or
social security number you may want to send this
information via the U.S. Postal Service.
To provide you
better service, the Site may also use
"cookies". A cookie is a small file that
contains information given to your Internet
browser by a website, which can later be
retrieved. A cookie is a way for a website to
recognize whether or not you have visited the
site before. IPC uses cookies for
administrative purposes, such as customizing the
information you see when visiting the Site or
storing a password for use at the Site. Our use
of cookies makes your use of the Site easier and
faster. Most of IPC's cookies last only through
a single visit. IPC’s cookies do not read your
hard drive or contain any information that you
have not already provided to IPC. IPC’s cookies
will not contain information that will enable
anyone to contact you via telephone or email.
If you prefer, your Internet browser can be set
to inform you when cookies are set or to prevent

Federal Agencies that require us to do so. These
disclosures will be made only to the extent
permitted and/or required by law.
IPC uses strong
encryption technology to protect the privacy of
personal information supplied to us through the
Site. Internet browsers typically store
("cache") information from the website being
visited on the hard drive of the user’s
computer. This means that information viewed or
input during a visit to a website can usually be
viewed again by merely hitting the "BACK" button
in your browser. Some websites issue a
"no-cache" command to Internet browsers to
prevent this temporary storage. To provide
better service to you, IPC does not send this
command to browsers. To better protect your
personal information, you should periodically
clear your computer’s cache of collected
information. Instructions for clearing this
cache are available from your Internet browser.
You should be
aware that third party websites linked to from
the Site may contain confidentiality/privacy
provisions that differ from the provisions
provided herein. IPC is not responsible for such
provisions, and expressly disclaims any and all
liability related to such provisions. Please
refer to our
Legal Terms and Conditions to review our
policy concerning links to third party websites.
This Privacy/Security Policy is subject to
change at any time and such revisions will take
effect at the time of posting. We suggest that
you periodically check this Privacy/Security
Policy for modifications. For additional
information on our other policies related to the
use of this Site, please refer to our
Legal Terms and
Conditions. |
